The Assembly of the Cilento Bio-District has just ended: there are many changes, starting with the Board of Directors.
The new President ANNA NIGRO, agricultural entrepreneur and owner of the Agriturismo Anna dei Sapori in Castelnuovo Cilento, was unanimously elected.
Vice-President Edmondo Soffritti, agricultural entrepreneur of ‘La Petrosa’ in Ceraso.
Councillor Felice Filpi, administrator of the Municipality of Ceraso.
Director: Architect Emilio Buonomo from Ceraso.
Honorary President Salvatore Basile.
These are the heads of the 7 working groups, which will support the board in the management of the Bio-District’s activities:
Group 1 – Integrated management of the Bio-District and relations with the public administration Angelo Perriello;
Group 2 – Tourism and gastronomy Serena Cilento;
Group 3 – Organic-regenerative agriculture Edmondo Soffritti;
Group 4 – Quality and food safety chains Anna Nigro;
Group 5 – Social agriculture Emiliano Sanges;
Group 6 – Communication Emilio Buonomo;
Group 7 – Young people and organic farming Domenico Maffia.

Major commitments await the new management group, starting with the organisation of the celebration of 20 years of activity of the Cilento Bio-District, which will see a full calendar of events at local, national and international level in 2024.
