BIO-REGIÃO Alto Tâmega

From 19 to 21 November 2018 a delegation of seven representatives of IN.N.E.R. was guided by Dr. Agronomist Rui Lagoa of the Municipality of Vila Pouca De Aguiar to discover the territory of Alto Tâmega, composed of six municipalities: Chaves, Valpaços, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Ribeira de Pena, Boticas and Montalegre.


On the afternoon of 21, a public conference was organized, that led to the establishment of the Bio-Região of Alto Tâmega, the second in Portugal, after that of Idanha in Nova, established on February 20, 2018.


   

The Bio-Região of Alto Tâmega participated at the Agro 2019.

The Bio-Região of Alto Tâmega participated at the Eco-region World Congress in Monsanto.
