At the opening of the Organic Congress in Asia, Salvatore Basile was recognised by IFOAM Asia for his promotion of ALGOA and GAOD in the world.
Among others, GAOD Executive Director, coordinator of the Organic Food System Programme and President of the Beras Foundation, Jostein Hertwig, was also recognised.
