Bio-Districts at the Organic World Congress 2021

The Bio-districts are at the center of the discussion of several events of the OWC 2021. Below is the calendar of the most important.

7 September 2021 from 2 to 5.30 PM CEST, OWC Preconference “Policy driving sustainable food systems“, Zhejiang Zhou, President of IFOAM Asia: “Working with local governments and districts – introducing ALGOA and GAOD – Global Alliance for Organic Districts”.

8 September 2021 from 3.30 to 5 PM CEST, Workshop “Organic Food System Program“, Co-Chairs: Jostein Hertwig (Beras, Norway) and Denis Lairon (Aix-Marseille University, France). A system approach to organic – Organic Food Systems as models for sustainable food systems around the globe (Pr Carola Strassner, Muenster University of Applied Sciences, Germany). From field to plate: case-studies of local organic food systems in Quito (Ecuador); ALGOA represented by Goesan County (South Korea) and Bislig City (Philippines); Cilento bio-district (Italy). : Dr. agr.
