Inventory of the diversity of agroecological approaches in five EU countries (France, Lithuania, Slovenia, Italy and Austria).
From 2015 to 2018, CEZ – Bergerie nationale of Rambouillet coordinates the Euro-EducATES project, as part of the Erasmus + European program. It has gathered four partners from higher and technical education and development in Austria, Italy, Lithuania and Slovenia.
This partnership aims to create outputs in order to support teachers and trainers in the way of the agroecological transition.
The first of these outputs, coordinated by the Italian partner, has been published:
« The various approaches of agro-ecology in the different countries – Synthesis of the national reports (Austria – France – Italy – Lituania -Slovenia) ».
For the five partner countries, an inventory has been realized about definitions and agroecological approaches. Then different points are addressed: the public policies in favor of agroecology and organic farming, the considerations of agroecology in the training systems and finally the different research approaches. As a conclusion, a critical analysis has been conducted.
